Kiftsgate Gardens, with its stone house and enchanting gardens, set the scene for Ashley and Oliver’s wedding. From the cascading wisteria climbing the historic façade to the winding garden paths and sun-kissed terraced areas, the venue was the perfect setting for a quintessential English country garden celebration.

At the heart of their wedding was their reception, featuring a stunning sailcloth marquee by Boutique Marquees. The space was light, airy and elegant, with draped ivory curtains, festoon lighting and floral installations that brought the outside in by Sassflower. Wicker baskets were overflowing with seasonal blooms, alongside trees and foliage that entwined the marquee poles, adding a laidback yet luxurious feel within the space.

Our Panama Chairs took centre stage in the marquee, lining the long banquet tables with their woven detailing and natural timber finish. The design of the chairs worked in harmony with the rest of their marquee styling, elevating the setting yet remaining comfortable enough for Ashley and Oliver to sit with their friends and family for hours of dining, toasts and memory-making.

Every detail had been thought of. The seating plan was displayed in rustic baskets of overflowing blooms, where each table was named after different flowers. The stylish bar area was adorned with tumbling greenery, while simple yet elegant place settings celebrated the natural textures of the space. Ashley and Oliver perfected the balance of minimalism and personality.

Beyond the marquee, our Cote Parasols and Amalfi Chairs offered shade and a place to pause in the summer sunshine. Set up in the gardens, our lounge furniture and ever-popular parasols created a welcome space for guests to gather, relax and soak up the moment. From their country-esque entrance in a classic Land Rover Defender to their first dance in the marquee, Ashley and Oliver’s wedding was relaxed yet sophisticated, showcasing that luxury doesn’t have to been over-the-top.
